AI Disclaimer
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Lundie & Grain uses AI to help you design and visualise woodwork. This disclaimer sets out what that output is — and is not — so you can use it safely.
1. AI output is a draft, not professional advice
Everything the studio generates — renders, dimensioned drawings, exploded diagrams, estimated cut lists, difficulty grades and build videos — is an assistive first draft and a creative design suggestion. It is not legal, financial, medical or professional compliance advice, and it is not a construction, structural, load-bearing or building-engineering specification.
2. Verify before you build or publish
Before you cut, build, fix, publish or otherwise rely on any output, you must have a human review it and independently verify the facts, the measurements, the material figures, the rights, the licences and the applicable regulations. Board sizes, waste, tolerances and site conditions vary, and generated estimates can be wrong.
3. Renders are references, not guarantees
In-context renders and style variants are visual references for a look and feel. They are not a guarantee of the finished piece, exact colour, grain, fit or structural behaviour.
4. Structural, fixing and services work
For anything built in, wall-fixed, load-bearing, or near electrical or gas services, engage a qualified person and follow local regulations. The studio does not replace a licensed carpenter, builder or structural engineer.
5. Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the output, for the safe use of tools and materials, and for ensuring any built result is safe and compliant. See our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
